How do I change my password to my Rakuten Account?

Change Password

To change the password associated with your Rakuten.com Shopping Account, please follow these steps:

  1. Click the "My Account" link in the "Login" drop down menu at the top of any page, which shows your user name if you are already logged in
    Click 'My Account'
  2. Click "Change Email Address or Password" located directly under “Account Settings” in the “Settings” section of the page
    Click 'Change Email Address or Password'
  3. Log into your account
  4. Click the “Reset Password” button
    Click the “Reset Password” button
  5. Enter and confirm the email address associated with your account
  6. Click the “Reset Password” button to receive an email confirming your change request
    Enter and confirm the email address and then click 'Reset Password'
  7. Click the link provided in the email
  8. Enter and confirm your new case sensitive password that is 6 to 20 characters in length
  9. Click the “Reset Password” button to complete the change

Forgot Password

To reset a password you forgot:

  1. Click the "My Account" link in the "Login" drop down menu at the top of any page, which shows your user name if you are already logged in
    Click 'My Account'
  2. Click " Forgot Your Password?" located under “Account Settings” in the “Settings” section of the page
    Click ' Forgot Your Password?'
  3. Enter and confirm the email address associated with your account
  4. Click the “Reset Password” button to receive an email requesting that you confirm the change
    Enter and confirm the email address and then click 'Reset Password'
  5. Click the link provided in the email
  6. Enter and confirm your new case sensitive password that is 6 to 20 characters in length
  7. Click the “Reset Password” button to complete the change

What do I do if I am not receiving the password reset email?

For security reasons, all password reset requests are emailed a unique, specially generated Web page for the user to reset a password.  In order to provide the utmost security for all our customers, we are unable to bypass this process.

If you are still not able to reset your password, you can always create a new account or check out as a guest if you do not have an additional email address you can use.
