Nice Wifi extender10/16/2014
This item was as represented and delivered as promised. Out of the box it was easy to setup and preforms well.
Setup was difficult, tech support of no help10/10/2014
Apparently this was sitting in a warehouse for some time, because when I called tech support for setup assistance I was told it was out of warranty. Fortunately they said they would extend it. Tech support could not figure out how to get it set up. After hanging up with support, I figured out that I had to click the "Use WPS" screen button and enter the 8 digit PIN from my router to get it connected. They should have known this, or at least suggested I try it.
Great WiFi Extender7/8/2014
This WiFi extender works perfectly for me. It extends the WiFi to my garden and garage. It also works as a bridge to my TV which has Ethernet only. It is easy to setup and a bargain for the price.

product appears to work well. good documentation.
Worth Difficult Set-Up2/11/2014
Had to use manual set up which was not easy task. But performance and price far out weighed that issue.
I tried every way of installing this according to the (downloaded) manual & never got the signal strength light to indicate that the unit was working. Finally I got it to work by locating it away from the router (2 rooms away) and doing the WPS installation. I also enabled the SSID to be broadcast but I'm not sure that is necessary. It has worked well for the 2 days since installation. But I spent about 3 hours fooling with it & was about ready to send it back until I hit upon the "magic"...
Works great! Highly recommended!9/16/2013
This unit works well. It supports both the 2.4 and the 5 ghz bands, and the a/b/g/n flavors of wifi. It's pretty small, about the size of 2 packs of cigarettes. I tried it first in 2.4 ghz mode, and used it with my laptop and a friend tried his xbox, both worked fine with nice range and no drops. I was able to get a nice 3- 4 bars at the neighbors house with the extender just inside my house at a window in a wall closest to the neighbor. I then switched it to 5 ghz. There is no interference in this band, very few people use it, or even know about it yet.... so this is a good thing, better bandwidth, no interference. However, the range is shorter, so it's kind of a trade off. I had just happened to get a 5 ghz capable card for my desktop, so I was able to test it with that. I do only get 3 bars whereas I can get 4 in the 2.4 ghz, but the lack of others in the band makes up for it. Your mileage will vary, just have to try it, do speed tests, or see what looks like it's faster in your instance. Overall this is a solid product with some nice options, and it works like a charm.
