| The Wolfe Tones have been singing out for the freedom of a united Ireland for over 25 years. Through their music and its message, they hope to build "a house in which all Irish people can live in unity and peace." | |
| This two-CD set is filled with tunes sung in both English and Irish. On "Women of Ireland" they sing of struggle and joy but flavor the music with an air of pride. On the upbeat "Foggy Dew" the four Wolfe Tones all join in singing a powerful melody of rebellion. A song of Irish liberty, "Foggy Dew" captures the glory of Irish patriots everywhere. Finally, the harp-driven "A Dord Feinne (Oro Se Do Bheatha Abhaile)" shows the Wolfe Tones' ability to tap into the rich traditions of their homeland. | |
