Video Features 1c This unit is for indoor use only, not intended for use in or around wet or potentially wet areas such as aquariums, saunas, showers and fountains
Video Features 1d Risk of Electric Shock!
Video Features 2. INSTALLATION: Before installation, you may need a 3/8" wire clamp connector (Romex Connector) and 3 wire connectors (terminal connectors)
Video Features 2a Turn off power in the house
Video Features 2b Decide where to place this unit
Video Features 2c Choose the side you want the cord exit and mark on the Knockouts coin
Video Features 2d Gently punch off the Knockouts coin marked earlier with the back of a screw driver or other tool handy
Video Features 2e Unscrew the Back Cover off the power strip with a philips screw driver
Video Features 2f Take out the plastic insulation sheet. Cut a hole on it to let the wires through. (If to use the bottom knockout on the back cover, no need for a wire clamp connector. Thus please ignore 2g, 2h and 2j below)
Video Features 2g Install the 3/8" wire clamp connector in place. Tightening the big ring screw (inside the wall)
Video Features 2h Run the wires through (the bottom cover if necessary, and then) the white plastic insulation sheet first, then the wire clamp connector, from the outside into the power strip
Video Features 2i Match the color of the wires and secure the wire connection with proper wire connectors
Video Features 2j Tighten the two pressure screws properly on the wire clamp connector
Video Features 2k Place the plastic insulation sheet back in position in the power strip
Video Features 2l Screw the Back Cover on
Video Features 2m For power strip with mounting tabs: screw down the unit on the floor, wall or in your cabinet or on your rack
Video Features 2n For power strip without mounting tabs: place the unit where needed, make marks where to install the clips, about 6" away from each end. Screw the clips down with screws provided. Then, snap the unit in on the clips
Video Features 2o Turn electricity back on, you are ready to go"
