Today's need for more bandwidth, greater than T1/E1 but less than T3/E3, requires creative and cost-effective solutions. Besides this need for high-speed access, solutions have to provide an answer to another key business challenge: the ability to monitor network traffic and verify that services being paid for are being received. That is why Quick Eagle Networks, the world leader in multilink WAN access products, has introduced the 4250 Multilink Frame Relay access device. The 4250 is a high-speed access device for connecting LAN equipment to Frame Relay networks. The 2xT1/E1 ports are bonded together using Multilink Frame Relay, enabling you to double your bandwidth at a fraction of the cost of deploying a T3 link. By using FRF.16-compliant protocol, the 4250 interoperates with compliant Multilink Frame Relay switches at the central office end of the network, removing the need for a separate access device at each end of the circuit. The 4250 load balances traffic across both T1/E1 ports, and if one link fails traffic is still carried on the second link, providing a redundant configuration. The 4250 Multilink Frame Relay access device comes as standard with a full range of network monitoring features - RMON-1 and RMON-2 to enable monitoring up to the applications layer, and Frame Relay Service Level Agreement verification to ensure that you are getting what you are paying for from your service provider.
