| Broken Bridges, directed by Steven Goldman, is a bittersweet story of former high school sweethearts Bo Price (Toby Keith) and Angela Delton (Kelly Preston) who return home to Tennessee after the deaths of their younger brothers forcing them to deal with the past and future. Keith plays a country music singer who has fallen from the spotlight and whose life changes after coming home, reuniting with his true love and meeting his 16-year old daughter Dixie (Lindsey Haun) for the first time. The soundtrack features music by Toby Keith, Lindsey Haun, Willie Nelson, BeBe Winans, Flynnville Train, Rushlow Harris and score music by Grammy Award winning producer Randy Scruggs.

The soundtrack to Toby Keith's movie debut, which stars the singer as a faded country star trying to reconnect with his roots, blends the sentimentality of Keith's performance on the title track with the passion of Fred Eaglesmith's "I'm Thinking About You." Matraca Berg's accordion-laced "Along for the Ride" highlights the exhilaration of new love, while the traditional gospel song "Uncloudy Day" features the all-star trio of Keith, Bebe Winans, and Willie Nelson, and Flynnville Train's "High on the Mountain" is pure Southern-fried country. |
