Notes & Personnel Info
Muze PNote Liner Note Author: Chuck Pinnell.

Muze PNote Conceived and produced by guitarist Chuck Pinnell, this 15-track set features Civil War era songs re-imagined by several singer/songwriters, most of them connected with the Austin, Texas folk scene. The end result is a bright and well-recorded project that is all pop-folk, making these venerable songs breathe and shine anew in the 21st century. Two of the clear highlights are Slaid Cleaves' haunting and emotionally sustained versions of "She Moved Through the Fair" and "The Streets of Laredo." ~ Steve Leggett

Producer: Chuck Pinnell
