At times a bit trifling, at times too brief, and at times quite insightful. Overall, a good read. Read More

Great Book

on 7/16/2011

Just finished A Bold Fresh Piece of Humanity and I must say that Sister Lurana got it right. Bill is both bold and fresh and his take on politics is also bold and fresh and I really identify with him. He tells it like it is, apologizes to no one (nor should he) for his opinions. Keep it up Bill. There are those of us who really appreciate your views. We aren't Democrat or Republican. We are Independant thinkers, just like you, who want whats best for our once great country. I know that with more people like you, we can once again be A GREAT AMERICA. Read More

Author Info
Bill O'Reilly
Bill O'Reilly was born of working-class Irish heritage and grew up in Levittown, New York. He attended Marist College and then taught high school. After two years of teaching he enrolled in Boston University, where he got a master's degree in journalism. O'Reilly began a career in journalism and gained nationwide recognition as the host of Inside Edition. THE O'REILLY FACTOR is the name of both his television program and the best selling book of opinions and commentary. O'Reilly also wrote a thriller called THOSE WHO TRESPASS, about a detective who teams up with a female newscaster. In recognition of his accomplishments, he was invited to pursue post-graduate study at Harvard's prestigious John Kennedy School of Government.
"[Bill O'Reilly's] latest, while dotted with enough childhood anecdotes to qualify it as a memoir, is essentially a self-help tract. A BOLD FRESH PIECE OF HUMANITY is Mr. O'Reilly's effort to help you become more like Mr. O'Reilly....[A] chatty, nostalgic book."
From the Publisher
Editors Note The controversial commentator and author of The O'Reilly Factor offers an intimate account of the people, places, and experiences that have shaped his life, helped launch his career as an influential television personality, and molded his views on America, its place in the world, and modern-day issues. 1,000,000 first printing.
