Adelaide is a little bit different to most kangaroos--because most kangaroos don''t have wings. Leaving her family behind, brave and adventurous Adelaide flies off to see the world. Illustrations.
From the Publisher:
Adelaide, a kangaroo with wings, discovers that her unique anatomy and abilities bring her fame and fortune in Paris.
Annotation:
Blessed with the unique feature of wings, Adelaide the kangaroo definitely stood out. Taking full advantage of her wonderful ability to fly, she headed into the air to explore the world. Spotting a little plane, she follows the pilot and has all sorts of adventures. Tired of roaming, Adelaide settles down in Paris, but longs to meet another kangaroo with wings. When she bravely rescues children from a burning building, she gets her wish. With Tomi Ungerer's classic illustrations.
