If you load a lot of books or pdf files the device slows way down. The battery will not stay charged over a period of a week. I've also had to reset my device several times.

-A customer quote

Great little reader. It uses e-paper technology instead of the e-ink. Which means it DOES NOT FLASH when you turn the page. Love this, I would hate the flashing! Easy to load any kind of book. I have an ipad and got so tired of fighting with it to load books. You had to convert to convert and finally convert to get them on the ipad. You will have to do the same thing with the Kindle or a lot of the others. This one easily loads the DRM protected books that you get FREE from the library. My library uses overdrive.com. I was going to get the Opus from buy.com but they ran out. So glad I ended up with the Libre. After buying, go to the Aluartek website and download the newest software.
