Relatively Expensive, But Worth It7/18/2011
I've worked with several different HTPC cases over the years but the Remote Fusion Max is my favorite; so much so that I've purchased three of them in total. Strengths include solid build, lots of large case fans for quiet cooling (I haven't even needed to use the side fans), logical internal layout, built in IR sensor plus remote (WMC compatible), and a attractive exterior that will blend in nicely with other cosumer electronic components. Note that this is a large case and though some will consider this to be a negative I think it's a strength because it makes working on the interior easier and offers plenty of space for internal, full-sized components. Negatives include the lack of a power supply, cheesey-low contrast LCD display, and less than intuitive software for configuring the display. Further, the manual could be better but it's adequate. In aggregate, though this case is relatively expensive I think the Remote Fusion Max is worth it and its strengths far outweigh its weaknesses.
