Mini-ITX is the next "big" thing. And now, Antec introduces the ISK Series, an entire line of cases designed exclusively for Mini-ITX motherboards. With three drive bays, a side 80mm TriCool fan, and a stable 65-watt power adapter, the ISK 300-65 can handle many of the tasks of a traditional PC, in half the space. And with a 0.8mm cold rolled steel frame, the ISK 300-65 is not only nimble but durable. From petite desktop option to silent home theater, Antec's ISK 300-65 is an epic case of mini proportions.
Works as advertised11/1/2010
It was a tight fit, but I got an ASUS AT5IONT-I mini-ITX board into it without much trouble. Case is very quiet, looks great on my desktop, and works great. Only flaw was that the front-panel USB ports are 2.0, not 3.0.
Perfect for HTPC Projects6/5/2010
I've used two of these cases to build HTPCs with Intel Atom motherboards. They are well made and easy to work with. The internal power cable group even has the special connector required by most slim CD/DVD optical drives. It should be noted that the drive-active LED is very small and the power-on LED is just a subtle blue glow which makes them better suited (i.e. less annoying) for living room and bedroom use than most cases that use bright LEDs. The provided fan has a manual fan speed control and I opted to replace it with a quiet variable speed fan under control of the motherboard.
