Just installed this as a backup spot type fan to cool my overheated Nvidia GeForce card in an otherwise stock HP Pavillion m9077c box. Installation was a pain as the motherboard screws were difficult to access, not to mention the proximity of the mobo screws to resistors on the board. Once screwed tightly in, it was impossible to find a fan plug. This unit didn't come with a PSU converter cable, but thankfully I also simultaneously purchased an Antec system slot cooling fan which had a PSU plug, so we jumpered the two fans into the PSU plug and got it working. This spot fan didn't feel like it was moving too much air, but I aimed it right at the other end of my video card and I'm more comfortable knowing it was there. If you can go with something more powerful to cool what you need to, you might want to pass this up and go with something different, like a single or double slot fan if you have the room.
