USB not recognized - can't get pictures4/29/2011
I connected this camera to my Windows XP computer after installing the driver. The camera was recognized only as a webcam, not as a usb device. There was NO way to get the pictures off the camera. The fact that the USB wasn't recognized automatically, and required installing a driver is a major problem. I'd recommend spending a few more dollars and getting a camera that can be recognized by any computer with a USB port.
I would not buy this!4/24/2008
The camera is not even worth the shipping cost. Takes blurry pictures. I bought as part of a rebate, so if you can recoup the cost in the rebate it would be worth it.
You get what you pay for.4/18/2008
Ordered this only to get a fat rebate on another good product. That is about all it is worth. I am surprised Argus put its name on it. Picture quality is poor, it has no flash, the view finder is a single lens that makes the view too small to frame the picture and it will not accurately view what the camera will record. It even has a lower resolution available that I can not see any use at all for. Its only good point, if there is one, is that it is very small; but my cell phone has a much better camera and is always with me and you can see the picture on the screen after taking it. The Argus has no screen
Not bad....for the price!4/12/2008
...actually bought the camera for the printer rebate....it's turned out to be quite a fun little camera....my nieces and nephew love it!
WHATEVER DID YOU THINK YOU'D GET3/27/2008
Be real. The camera is cheap and is not what one would want, but one your would expect to get. Remember that you can keep it in the glove compartment of your car and in the instance where you might have an accident, the pix you would get are far better than none.
anyone know where to find its serial number to get3/4/2008
I got this camera just for the 70 rebate. However, the coupon require its serial number which I cannot find. Anyone know where is the serial number for this camera? Thanks!
Bought this "Camera" only to get $70.00 Epson Rebate. Epson Printer is great, camera is junk!
It's a toy2/20/2008
For $10, you don't expect much.
Appreciate their Innovation2/13/2008
Very fast! Webcam quality is decent enough to manage Free photo studio software is impressing Camera visual appearance is not appealing
The ONLY reason I got it, was for the rebate it allowed me to get to qualify for a $70 rebate on a $70.00 Epson CX6450 printer. For this reason, it presented a good value. Aside from the above, in my opinion this "toy" does not meet any of the criteria associated with a digital camera. Pictures are blurry, it is slow to capture, no memory card, pictures are lost if battery is removed.....
Got what I paid for.2/10/2008
When you only pay $10 for a camera you get what you pay for. The viewfinder is pretty useless. The pictures came outsurprisingly well for the cost of the camera. Great for elementary aged children who want a camera for trips, retreats, etc.
