Impossible to upgrade memory!
I bought this netbook because of the dual core ATOM processor, but found that instead of including an easy to access door for the ram, you have to take the entire computer appart to reach the ram. First you have to remove all exposed screws, then push tabs in to remove the keyboard (very difficult to actually get the keyboard to pop up), then remove all the exposed screws under the keyboard, then remove the top cover, then remove another 8-10 screws and then and only then, you can pry up the side of the motherboard with the ram and reach a screwdriver in there to remove the tabs on the ram, then fight to get a new dimm in there, then put it all together and hope that the many very thin connectors go back and you did not bend the motherboard too much and break it. It is rediculous that Acer has made it so hard to change out the ram. In fact, even on their website it says they do not recommend the user changes the ram and that it is not upgradable. Read More
