Greatest tablet for the price.
BEWARE RESIDENTS OF HAWAII AND ALASKA! My sons bought a Transformer epad for me for Christmas. I loved it – at first. Then came the upgrade to ICS, Android 4.0.3. My tablet froze and then quit altogether. I DO NOT RECOMMEND this product.
This has been a great tablet so far. I added the cover and it has been a great item to download books and wifi with when I am on the go. Great product- fantastic price.
I am really happy I purchased this over the IPAD. It offers a lot more flexibility and is quite powerful. I have not had any issues with this tablet so far and have been really impressed with its overall performance. For the price this tablet is definitely the way to go.
This tablet is one of the easiest and nicest ones to operate. I had it for two days before the upgrade to ice cream OS and it totally rocks, no problems or lag doing anything. I was thinking about getting the Prime, but didn't want to pay the Prime prices and this is worth it. It has excellent features and functions! Worth it!!!
Best Tablet for what you need it for2/29/2012
This dual core tablet, now with Ice Cream Sandwich, is a powerhouse. It can play great games such as Shadowgun or Blood and Glory, while still providing enough power for movies. I believe I was able to watch 8 hours of movies before it died on me, but that was with the power saver on.
This is one of the best tablets in the market that can compete against any other tablets. I used other tablets and the transformer. I found that the transformer is better performing than most of the tablets. Also it has usb ports and hdmi port which is an added advantage. There are some quirks that have to be tweaked with Honeycomb 3.0 OS and that's something Google is working on. That's easy since updates will be released (an update is scheduled in 2 days). So that will improve the overall performance of the OS. But I honestly didn't have any issues with it, I really like Honeycomb 3.0 so far. I definitely recommend this thing for people who want to use their tablets as an extension or even a replacement to their laptops. Asus has hit a home run with this one, since it costs much less than anybody else and its specs are great. It's hands down the best purchase I've had under 400 bucks. The docking station is sold out anywhere else but I pre-ordered it on Amazon and I'm hoping to get it in a couple of weeks. I'll post a video with the combo once I get everything up and running. I'm a iOS person who's welcoming Android with open arms! You can download any apps you want, any developer can create apps for it, it's a "free" system. It's not as wide as the App Store, but it's getting bigger and bigger by the minute. Also the battery back is pretty good. It lasts for days for me when I charge it to full once.
Best bang for buck7/18/2011
I love asus. I have a laptop, video card, and monitors from them. Everytime there is any issue with a product they fix it. Knowing this I read other reviews about a speaker being dull on one side and other things like that. I had non of these issues from my device it was flawless it has 3.1 and they are working on 3.2 right now. Asus is on top of thier stuff behind. I feel like samsung leaves every device behind. Once something new comes out they forget about all the other stuff. Asus makes a great product with a bright screen and responsive touch surface. Playing plants vs Zombies on here is awesome. And typing is amaing with the stock keyboard. But I just use Swift Key since they are awesome. I honestly recommend this over the XOOM or the Galaxy 10.1 tab because they are over priced. This is the definition of BANG for your BUCK!
value for the price6/28/2011
This is one of the best andriod based tablet for the price of 400$ with an SD card and Mini-HDMI adapter. you can't beat the price/value proportion. And the screen is IPS same as Ipad and it shows -- the brightness and viewing angles were amazing. Build quality can be better, it quirks when you hard press the corners and the edges were sharp which leaves marks on the hands after holding it for an hour.
