The product is very useful since you can turn your tablet into netbook , I have seen touch screen giving issues sometimes so with keyboard u can easily navigate. I wish keyboard should have bluetooth capability also so that I have the option to use it wirelessly also.
Great add on9/28/2012
Worth it for not other reason than the huge battery will charge the tablet.
Works as indicated9/15/2012
Keeps the tablet upright and accessible. It feels just like a netbook when attached.
Adds battery life and function to a great tablet6/17/2012
Gives you regular usb input to use with flash drives, so you're not limited to microsd anymore. Someone told me you can use an external mouse instead of using the touchpad, but I haven't felt the need to try it yet. Battery life: I can now use the tablet for about 12 hours without a shut down. Been using about 3 weeks now, I have not yet experienced any connection issues that others have had. I wish it came with its own charger, so much faster when charging only the dock unattached. My tablet has now replaced my laptop for the most part because of this attachment. Now if only there were free apps for printing via USB to multiple brands of printers, and reliably connecting to RDPs, then it will completely replace my laptop.
Well worth the price5/3/2012
I can't get over how awesome this is! I take my tablet to class and my classmates are always impressed that there is an actual keyboard component available for the tablet. I especially enjoy that I can plug my phone into the USB port to charge it or use a thumb drive for memory. The only complaint I have is really more of a suggestion. Allow the right side of the mouse pad to controll scrolling the page. I am so used to that feature from my last 3 laptops that it sometimes get frustrating to have to either use the on-screen scroll or hit the page down button continuously. Overall, I would definitely recommend this to anyone that wants to type more than a few words. It makes taking notes in class a breeze without having to lug my heavy laptop to and from school. GREAT CONCEPT!
Excellent Accessory for Asus Transformer3/17/2012
I was very pleased to receive and use this keyboard. The initial quality is outstanding and the keyboard is very functional. A perfect companion to the Transformer for those people who are efficient with a qwerty keyboard. Unlike the other poster, I was able to use the touch screen while the keyboard was attached to the tablet. But I also was upgraded to Android 4.0.3 as soon as I activated it and perhaps the upgrade added this functionality. The color of mine was listed as "brown" but it really is a matte bronze. Very rich looking. My iPad friends were favorably impressed with it. My neighbor is considering getting one after seeing mine. I don't think you will be disappointed with your purchase.
Got as gift for non tablet user. Like the quick action buttons on the top row of keyboard is very nice. Basically small Android laptop. Need to make shure the connection has clicked in well when you connect tablet. Keyboard was not responding so pressed hard on the tablet and got another click, fixed that. Seems like you can't use keyboard and touchscreen at same time that well.. comp gets confused on priorites. Something users gotta get used to.
