A bit *too* bright right out of the box. I had to turn it down quite a bit to make it comfortable to look at. No dead pixels or problems. Monitor was in perfect condition. Plenty of input options and even PIP. I was planning to just use this for a secondary workstation, but it seemed like a waste so I went ahead and hooked it up as an additional monitor for my primary workstation as well... switching back and forth between the inputs as-needed. Working great.
This monitor is re3ally cheap and affordable. It has a really nice quality.
I bought this about a month or so ago and have been happy so far. The resolution and sharpness of the screen is awesome. The response time is good; I have been pleased with it playing games. The best feature is having the huge viewable are. I would recommend this to anyone look for a large monitor
After a month or so everything is great. I haven't found any bad pixels and the adjustments for the display are good. The thing is so big that I find I don't need to put on my reading glasses most of the time. I tried the speakers just to see how they were and quickly went back to my old ones. Monitors have very poor sound quality but I knew that. It came with cables, but I already had higher quaility ones. I've used both VGA and DVI connections both work well, DVI is better. I gave is a 4 on value because the prices are coming down after only a month so the value is already moving up to a 5.
Big and Beautiful9/15/2010
Maybe I just haven't bought an LCD in a few years and thus missed some industry-wide improvements, but this monitor blew me away. The colors look perfect, black levels are way darker than I'm used to, and there's no light bleed. The viewing angle is so wide that it's not the limiting factor any more; if you are in a position to see the screen at all, you're within the viewing angle. Similarly, the response time is fast enough to be beyond human sensory capabilities (or at least mine)...tracers and ghosts are a thing of the past. Round this all out with 1080p native resolution, 4 inputs (including Displayport, which is going to enable me to run this monitor along with two 19" as soon as my Radeon 5750 gets here) and picture-in-picture, and it's one really impressive piece of equipment. Oh...and did I mention it's HUGE?
