Customer Reviews of Audio Technica ATH-ANC27 QuietPoint Active Noise-Cancelling Headphones
I don't need to spend to enjoy music. They don't cut out 100% of the ambient sounds and they don't make that claim. A few minutes listening to music or watching your movie, the rest of the noise disappears!!!! Great headphones.
Cheap and broken out of the box3/26/2014
Headphone plug loose right out of the box. Right ear cut out every time I moved my head. They did work, sort of, except for that right ear cutting in and out.
Quality product for the price2/24/2014
Compact headphones perform very well and can't be beat for this price.
Great Noise Cancelling Headphones for under $100!9/4/2013
These are really nice headphones. The quality level is very high. They are comfortable and come with a really nice case. No . . . they so not sound like my $400 Sennheisers, but they are not $400 headphones. They sound very good for everyday listening and do a nice job of blocking out droning, monotonous noises. Noise cancelling headphones only isolate you from noise that is not monotonous. For example, at a public pool, the headphones do a wonderful job of removing a very, noisy pool pump, but they only diminish the sound from the radio station being played through horn speakers around the pool. I would re-purchase in a heartbeat.
Great value for money8/7/2013
For what these cost, these noise canceling headphones do an amazing job. Not exactly Bose, but for a fifth of the price, these are excellent.
Veryt PleaSE WITH THE SERFVICE AND THE ITEM.6/27/2013

Good quality Noise Cancelling at an excellent pric6/25/2013
Noise cancelling is very good. sound quality is also good. The device you are listening to actually has an impact on the sound. My ipod produces impressive sound, while my Acer tablet needs to be fine tuned to get acceptable results. The earpads are okay, but not as soft as it shouldbe. You need to carefully place them on your ears to avoid discomfort after a few hours.
Decent quality for this price range
Noise cancelling headphones6/18/2013
Awesome...eliminates most of the noise. Good design. Very classy. Had to fiddle with the zipper on the case to get it to work. If it holds up...I will be very pleased.
Not the sound quality I expected.6/18/2013
I have been a professional videographer for many years. I own several Audio Technica hand-held and lavalier microphones. They have all been excellent, so I assumed these noise cancelling headphone would be too. They do a very good job of noise cancellation but the sound quality is only average at best. Unfortunately they do not exhibit a full and rich dynamic range.
These are really comfortable headphones and the sound is better then I expected for the price I paid.I am not an audio expert at all but these work for me.
video says removable cord for wireless use... WTH?6/11/2013
Curious how these phones can be used to listen to music wirelessly (detatchable cord) when no wireless technology exists within the headphones. The claim is made in the video.
Good product for the price.
quality headphones at a afforable price5/15/2013
Was bought as gift. product craftsmanship seems high and attractive packaging. They appear to perform as stated.
Headphones are comfortable to wear and have great bass quality. Noise-cancelling is very good yet the wearer can still hear someone speaking--a good feature. Somewhat larger than similar headphones but they encompass the outer ears and have no extra battery pod to get in the way.
Great product for the price.
Steal for the price4/14/2013
College is loud, needed to be able to zone out and do my work. These headphones do the trick, take the distractions away and let me go into my own world and get my work done. Only thing I don't like is sound leakage, my roomate can sometimes hear it when I am listening to it.
Good price and good customer service4/8/2013
Good price and good customer service
This product offers a really good sound quality and a powerful noise-cancelling engine. It's a really good product for its price, if you compare to the other high quality noise canceling headphone. The caps are a little bit small, so it's perfect for those who have small ears. If you only put the noise-canceling on without any music, the lower noise from outside are well blocked, but you can still hear the higher noise (ex: voices on a tv next to you). Hope this can help!

I am no audiophile but just someone who enjoys different sounds. These headphones are as previous reviewers have stated but of course everything has ups and downs. What I enjoyed about these headphones are that without noise canceling on, the sounds is muffled but this is not always a bad thing. I enjoy listening to these without active noise canceling to ease myself to sleep from the cave/echo like sound stage. The active noise canceling works well to removing/limiting most unwanted noise.
Very nice sound2/25/2013
I was looking for some noise cancellation headphones that weren't going to kill me in the wallet. I own a pair of Sony MDR-NC7, The noise cancellation is better than the Sony model and the sound quality of these AT's was way better. I just can't justify spending $300 for a set of Bose. My only complaint is that they get a little uncomfortable on the ear after a while. But overall these are awesome headphones
Great for the price.6/26/2012
These headphones are priced perfectly. The sound quality is very good. The only issue I have is that if you crank up the volume the bass get muddy. I listen to them on my droid phone an I ended up downloading an equalizer app and toned down the bass. After that they sound great. the noise cancellation is just what it says, about 85%. Just so you are aware, at this price level they DO NOT compare to any of the Bose headphones.
Good and rather inexpensive6/26/2012
These are very good noise-cancelling headphones. They effectively reduce a lot of ambient noise, and perform very well on music. I am satisfied, especially given that they are much cheaper than other systems. The carrying case has a very low quality zipper, that doesn't work well at all since the very beginning. One less star in satisfaction for this.
Lightweight; Good Bass; Best headphones out there; Stylish; Comfortable; Great Sound; Good Value
Bought these to use while traveling. The case/headphones fit right into carry on bag and sturdy enough to protect headphones. These, sound is good, elimates alot of outside noise, comfortable on my head and ears. Wish the cord was aleast 12inches longer but..Good price for the quality of these headphones.
This type of noise canceling technology is best at counteracting smooth, steady sounds such as the incessant roar of the jet's engines, or the whir of a computer server's fans. When you put them on and turn on the switch, these sounds magically disappear.
Good value, but uncomfortable5/17/2012
These phones work as advertised, do a reasonably good job of reducing ambient noise, and are reasonably priced. I also like the carrying case and various adapters included. I was a little disappointed in the sound quality, and they sound dreadful if they are turned off (or battery is weak, I suppose). And unlike the old over-ear headphones I replaced with these, the ear cups are just too small, and are rather uncomfortable on the ears after a few hours. Not ideal for long flights.

Good quality for the price
Initially, I was very pleased with these headphones considering the price I paid. Now the noise-cancelling switch has stopped working and they are useless. I guess you get what you pay for.
They work good for the price. It cancels out ambient noise like airplane jets or anything else that is repetitive. As for canceling out the sound on the tv or other people's voices it is not as good, but it still does drown them somewhat. Also it is nice to be able to use noise canceling without plugging in music.
I bought them mostly because of the noise canceling feature. I didn't want to spend $300+ on Bose headphones, so I got these instead and they work good for the price. It cancels out ambient noise like airplane jets or anything else that is repetitive.
Seems cheaply made; foam ear covers come off easily. Definetely better reception than the Sony; less static (minimal actually), lighter and easier to jog on the treadmill with. Don't like the on/off switch but got used to it. Overall, beats Sony hands down.
Good Product for a Great Price12/28/2011
I just received these headphones last week and so far they are great. I bought them mostly because of the noise canceling feature. I didn't want to spend $300+ on Bose headphones, so I got these instead and they work good for the price. It cancels out ambient noise like airplane jets or anything else that is repetitive. As for canceling out the sound on the tv or other people's voices it is not as good, but it still does drown them somewhat. Also it is nice to be able to use noise canceling without plugging in music. Overall, if you want Apple headphones quality sound and good noise canceling for a cheap price then these are for you.
Noise cancelling works.....sorta. The sound quality was VERY disappointing, not much better than the earbuds that came with my ipod. They look good and feel good, but performance leaves me with buyers remorse.
I live by an airport and the most annoying neighbors ever. If you want to really shut off all your annoying neighbors or the sound of airplanes this is your solution. Turn on the noise cancelling option and say good bye to NOISE. I don’t even plug it to any media devise. I just put it on my head and walk around home peacefully. Also, forget the outside world if you were to be dialed in with the music. I am a computer programmer. This is my best friend when coding.
