DVD EZMaker works fine, but!7/7/2008
DVD EZMaker works as promised, but the movie software packaged with the device is too limited. You'll need to buy the full movie software edition to copy, edit, and burn VHS type videos. So, consider your purchase only on the basis of the device, which is good.
Despite claims, NOT compatible with Vista 64-bit4/3/2008
I was excited to find this product because, to date, there is not a single USB device on the market for capturing analog video into a 64-bit Windows Vista system, other than one product by Pinnacle called the Moviebox which SUPPOSEDLY works but which adds unnecessary functions beyond the scope of video capture (e.g., Firewire interface). Simply put, after going through this with Avermedia technical support, I can verify that the product does NOT work on a Vista 64-bit operating system (which is the current flagship of the computer world). So if that's your setup, do not make my mistake and get misled by the product packaging/documentation. It doesn't work.
