| You get 5 nipples/order Easy to use item to create your own custom sanitary waterers from 5 gallon buckets to PVC gravity fed waterers! Save money by making your own waterers from used household items. Each nipple has a 360 degree stainless steel nipple that will work from any angle. Simply drill a 5/16 inch hole in bottom of container or PVC pipe, use a little epoxy or pipe thread tape to make water tight and screw nipple in. Chickens from day old to grown will train themselves to use the nipples in minutes - If you experience any problems with getting them to use it, let us know as we have MANY tips that work! We recommend one nipple for every 3 birds or so. Use a container or bucket with a lid and water will remain sanitary for days or between refills, no more poop in the water or having to clean those nasty waterers every couple of days. Customize your waterers to fit your individual needs. Please note: When used in thin walled plastic such as a bucket nipples can generally be removed after instalation and moved to another device. If they are installed in thick walled plastic such as PVC pipe then the thread of the nipple acts as a tap and the nipple can be removed but cannot be re-used again and the threads will no longer be good.
