From pasture to hayloft, cows moo, kittens mew, hens cluck, and pigs muck. But Goose is hiding. An energetic text filled with rhyming barnyard noises invites young readers to chime in. Children will also enjoy playing hide-and-seek with Goose, who appears on every spread. Full color.
From the Publisher:
This farm favorite is now a board book, perfect for preschoolers.

"Cows in the pasture, moo, moo, moo. Roosters in the barnyard, cock-a-doodle-doo . . ."

It's another noisy morning on the farm, and all of the animals are where they should be -- except Goose. And where is Goose? Young children will enjoy clucking, mucking, mewing, and cooing while they search for Goose on every gorgeously illustrated spread.
Author Bio
Denise Fleming
Denise Fleming's career as an artist began when she was in the third grade and one of her paintings was reproduced on the cover of a magazine for teachers. Her career in children's publishing began in 1984 when she illustrated Alice Low's ALL THROUGH THE TOWN. The first book she both wrote and illustrated was 1991's IN THE TALL, TALL GRASS. Many of Fleming's picture book illustrations are "pulp paintings" which are created by forcing colored cotton pulp through hand-cut stencils. Her 1993 work IN THE SMALL, SMALL POND was named a Caldecott Honor Book.
