Editor's Note This documentary delves into the world of a group of edgy New York artists who have had a massive impact on the culture at large. Starting in the 1990s, this group found its origins on the fringe--in skateboarding, graffiti, punk, and hip hop--and turned their creativity to various kinds of art, including painting and filmmaking. BEAUTIFUL LOSERS highlights the lives and work of 11 artists, including Mike Mills and Harmony Korine.
