In the BBC's wickedly funny hit series, your favorite supernatural trio of vampire Mitchell (Aidan Turner, Desperate Romantics), loveable werewolf George (Russell Tovey, Little Dorrit) and ghost Annie (Lenore Crichlow, Collision) continue to try leading normal lives with a bit of romance, despite roadblocks from the less-than-helpful vampire community. New enemies include the mysterious CenSSA (Center for the Study of Supernatural Activity), which invades Disc 1 with hidden menus and self-serving extras. (Viewer Beware!) Also includes legitimate"making-of' and behind-the-scenes extras.

"I'd begun to feel overwhelmed by the undead. Then along came BBC America's Being Human to change my mind.  Ellen Gray, Philadelphia Daily News
"But for all the laughs, Being Human never loses sight of the menace of its characters.  Glenn Garvin, Miami Herald
"Funny and thoughtful with surprising plot twists, Being Human offers an inviting mix for fans of supernatural stories.  Rob Owen, Pittsburgh Post-Gazette

Editor's Note
Mitchell (Aidan Turner), George (Russell Tovey, and Annie (Lenora Chrichlow) - that's a vampire, a werewolf, and a ghost, respectively - battle an ever-increasing surge of enemies in their journey to lead something resembling normal life. Most threateningly, the extremist religious organization CenSSA will stop at nothing to eliminate or convert any and all supernatural entities.

In 2008, Britain’s BBC Three channel ran a series of one hour pilots with the view to awarding one of the shows a full season.  Being Human was by far the most popular of the pilots and was awarded a six-episode series shortly after airing.  The quirky plot revolves around a vampire, a werewolf and a ghost sharing a flat together in Bristol, England.  It sounds like a good way to start a joke, but Being Human falls firmly in the horror-drama genre and it is one of the most popular series to come out of the UK in recent years.  Following a shake up in the cast following the pilot, Being Human stars Russell Tovey as werewolf George, Aidan Turner as vampire Mitchell and Lenora Crichlow as ghost the full review
