This thing ROCKS!!!!!8/30/2013
I paired the Belkin with my iPhone and iMac and it is great!!!!! Streaming music to my receiver from my computer is way cool!!!! It sounds great, nice and clean with no distortion. The iPhone gets a little spotty at times when you open other apps, but it still works great!
Nice little item. Allowed me to stream wireless music from any BT device to my vintage receiver. Great for not having your device tied to the unit at all times when you're working around the house. The additional benefit to this is that it also allows your device to become a remote for volume and track changes, excellent for the vintage user. You will notice that you will need to turn up your volume higher than normal with this device. Small price to pay.
Great Bluetooth Receiver6/19/2013
This unit is easy to setup and produces clear, quality sound.
Love this thing3/28/2013
works great.. range isn't far but when the phone is in the same room the receprion is perfect
couldn.t technologically advance my house / sound system w/o this product
Works well, but not flawless.10/16/2012
Setup was not exactly as described in the users manual, but item works well.
very nice to use
I used to use a really long mini jack and this is so much better. Plus being able to have all my devices ie iPhone Mac book pro and iPad all paired and ready to use is very convenient. Sound quality is really good. I would and have recommended this to friends.
Does what it says, range could be better but nothing outside of what should be expected.
Both droid htc and android sony erisson xperia play works great. reconnects automatically so I can listen to music, podcast, and live international radio on my android.
Works as stated5/12/2012
For the money, this works great. Setup in my living room on 7.1 speakers. Now I can play sound from my iPhone or Macbook pro through bluetooth instead of hooking up external computer speakers like I've had to in the past. Told my brother to get this. I hope the range can increase in future products.
Works...but sounds pretty shabby....4/18/2012
At the newly lowered price I jumped on this quickly. It is fairly simple to setup and use, it's constantly broadcasting itself so that makes for easy finding and pairing with any bluetooth device. Probably the easiest bluetooth device to connect to that i've ever owned. No tricky recessed buttons to push, or blinking light patterns to pay attention to. It's fairly small and unobtrusive. Build quality is top notch. Unfortunately it fails at sound quality. It really sounds like i'm playing music through a tin can. I've tried it with multiple bluetooth signal sources: Two Android phones (Droid Incredible 2 & HTC Rezound), laptop, macbook, and iPad. Overall, the iPad sounds the best and is just barely acceptable.
I have an in ceiling speaker system in our house and it does not have a bluetooth hookup, until now! Now whether I want to play music off my laptop or off either iphones, we can. Talk about completely eliminating using an aux cable hookup everytime I want hear music. It's as easy as plug in and then let your bluetooth device 'discover' and sync with it and then start playing music!
Exactly what I wanted it to do2/29/2012
I love this product. I live in a 700 sq ft condo and it sits on the window sill at one end of my living room. It covers about 90% of my apartment with great sound. I have it linked to my ipad and my iphone. Be sure to keep the signal path clear as other bluetooth devices can occasionally disrupt the signal.
Wish they made a rechargeable version for my car!11/9/2011
The product works and is nice. You can pair multiple devices to it, and switch between them by just disconnecting from one device and connecting from another. Just as the previous review, the range isn't that great when going through drywall or worse, but that could also be dependent on the bluetooth transmitter in the iPod or Android device. If you move your iPod or Android phone too quickly, you might get a jump in the sound, but if you casually walk around with it in your pocket, it should be fine. The fidelity sounds great from my experience, I hooked the output into my 350Watt Philips Stereo.
It obviously works but...10/31/2011
This device is extremely easy to setup. Simply plug into your power outlet and your stereo or other headphone jack equipped device. Then activate bluetooth on your chosen device and search for available devices. You will See "Belkin ###" which you can pair your device with like any BT headphones. Once paired just play your music like normal. Worked easily on iPod tough 4g and Droid Incredible. Unfortunately there were some fidelity issues that were rather apparent if you were paying attention. Luckily I could see using this outdoors with an extension cord and a boombox pretty easily and you probably wouldn't notice the sound if you were busy with something else. The effective range was about 15 feet with two walls inbetween the signal which was certainly adequate for use when both the transmitter and receiver are in the same room. Fun little product, price isn't bad. Just lacking a bit in the signal quality. Probably still worth it if you're more interested in the convenience then never hearing and pops or crackles in your music.
