Actually Much Better than Cheaper Cables
Before you think about buying cheaper cables, let me tell you there is a difference. I first tried using cheaper cables costing $10-$15 and the video quality was poor (lines and fuzzy images). I could tell the difference when going back and forth between the cheap cable and this product. Even worse, the computer's video card would not activate after a reboot with the cheaper cable. I presume this is because the cheaper cable kept the video card from seeing the KVM and therefore it never "woke up." Therefore, the only viable solution was to use better cables. The downside to this product is that it comes with the PS/2 cables attached. I wish I could have found the gold VGA cable alone (or at this price with the USB option). So, if you don't use USB cables, you will have to pay for them anyway and they will waste space running alongside the VGA cable. You will have unused PS/2 connectors dangling at both ends of your cable which I find a bit unsightly (thus, minus 1 point for value).
