|This rethinking of the popular Nintendo DS game will test players brains with fun problems and allow people of any age to play together. The Wii Remote controller's hands-on control makes playing a cinch. Multiplayer versus and co-op play modes also have been added, allowing players to use the title as a brain-training exercise or a raucous party game. In split screen two-player versus mode, the same puzzle problems will appear in a different order -- The first player to get 12 correct answers wins.|
Customer Reviews of Big Brain Academy: Wii Degree
Great game, esp for non-gamers1/16/2013
Kids from age 5 to adults age 70+ have played this game at my home and loved it. Adults will get a real mental workout once they get to expert level. Mr. Lobe gets irritating but you can buzz through him fairly quick. I would give this to all the kids in my family if their parents could only find a Wii system.
Geared to a younger audience than we expected1/18/2009
Nice game, but we thought it would be more challenging.
Good working on your memory.1/13/2009
Good game, keeps you thinking fast. Heard you can unlock a multi player mode, don't know about that....
Another Wii Winner!!7/5/2007
I assumed, like many others, that Nintendo was dead and the Wii would never have widespread appeal. Wii's Big Brain Academy is another great example of just how wrong we all were. Big Brain challenges you through puzzles and games to increase your mental prowess and processing speed. Our entire family is now battling almost daily to see who'll be the brainchild among our group. The games move quickly, really test your mental processing powers, yet are easy enough for our 7 yr. old twins to battle their college-aged siblings. The college kids of course dominate, but the game automatically adjusts the difficulty to the prior performance of each individual's Mii character. This game, along with Mario Party 8, is a must-have if you own a Wii. If you don't own a Wii but think the idea of a gaming system where Grandma can battle right along with the toddlers in an easy-to-learn system, it's time to find your own Wii!! Rating: 9.25 out of 10
