The thinking man's thriller!
I loved "Map of Bones" and could not wait for "Black Order." My pre-ordered copy arrived yesterday and I finished at two this morning! It was well worth the wait. Sigma Forces Painter Crowe and Grayson Pierce are back at it in this non-stop action thriller! A weird Plague has descended on a remote monastery hidden high in the Himalayas and in a nearby cave a Nazi swastika is found on the wall. A strange animal is stalking and taking wildlife on the plains of South Africa. In Europe someone is buying antique Victorian scientific documents. So what the heck do these three seemingly unrelated incidents have in common? You'll have to read Black Order to find out! But suffice to say, as always Rollins takes the reader on a roller coaster ride, that along the way explores the mystery of the origins of life. The mixture of heart pumping action and intellectual intrigue is hard to beat. He may now have surpassed the king of this genre, Michael Crichton! I also recommend "Map of Bones" and "A Tourist in the Yucatan!"
