The BlackBerry Curve—it’s your connection to everything that matters.
The BlackBerry Curve 8320 smartphone works with your organization's BlackBerry® Enterprise Solution to provide corporate-strength functionality, including enhanced security features and easier access to company information.
The BlackBerry 8320 smartphone also gives you Wi-Fi access**, which means that if your organization has deployed the BlackBerry Enterprise Solution, you can securely access all your corporate data over Wi-Fi networks, onsite or off. Your BlackBerry services will deliver the same functionality as when you’re connected to the mobile network.
Unlike traditional mobile phones, the BlackBerry Curve smartphone can be centrally managed and supported by IT departments. Remote address book look-up, single mailbox integration and push delivery of data from corporate applications are just a few of the features available.
Very disappointed--would not recommend3/13/2011
I am quite disappointed in this Blackberry. First, it is not truly unlocked. It did not work in Haiti, which is where I intended to use it. I purchased a SIM card in Haiti. When the SIM card was in the Blackberry, the screen read "invalid sim card." Yet the same SIM card worked just fine in my other phone. Second, this Blackberry did not function like my previous (very similar) Blackberry (same model). This one is very slow and everything is delayed. For example, within a couple weeks of receiving this Blackberry, it was taking up to 5 minutes to get to the regular screen after turning it on. During that time there was either a blank (lit) screen or an hourglass. I had a Blackberry Pearl several years ago, and my Pearl started doing this after I'd had it for about a year. I was told that this is a problem with many Blackberries. My Pearl crashed shortly after that and I lost all data on that phone. I certainly didn't expect that a brand new Blackberry would be displaying the same problem right away (or ever). Third, the charger stopped working within weeks of when I started using it. I believe I had only used it to charge the phone twice before it stopped working. Therefore I now have a Blackberry that no longer even turns on, as the battery is dead. I wasted many hours entering contact information this phone--this is information that I can no longer access. Bottom line, I feel like I wasted $170 as I cannot use this Blackberry in Haiti due to it not being unlocked. And even if it was unlocked and I could use it here, it is so slow that I don't know if I would want to use it. And, even if I still wanted to use it for some reason, I would have to purchase a new charger before I could. I understand that it is risky to buy products online with a very limited return policy, and I should have known better. I would never purchase something like this online again.
First it was shipped without a battery, I e-mail the seller, I did not think I got a reply, but with in a week, I got the battery.
