The Arrancar arc is really getting old. This volume is nothing but non-stop fighting involving mostly minor characters. There is little character development. It's my opinion that Bleach is most interesting when the focus is on the core group of Ichigo and his friends. They're barely in the book. Orohime has a few pages devoted to her, just in case you forgot that Ichigo has been trying to go rescue her since more than 10 volumes ago. Instead it's mostly soul reapers, most of whom aren't really that interesting, fighting a bunch of arrancars whose names I can't even remember. Kubo seems to think that inventing more and more new characters with outrageous appearances and powers = "creativity", when it's really just lazy writing. I wouldn't have put it past him to invent another class of hollows even more powerful than espadas, and then another class of hollows even more powerful, and so on. The art, as always, is excellent, but the story telling is weak. It's so thin and superficial, that I was able to read the entire thing in less than half an hour. I loved the first 20 volumes of Bleach, but this arc has gotten worse with each volume. Hopefully it gets resolved soon.
