|Kay Scarpetta faces a string of the most baffling and terrifying crimes of her career in the extraordinary new novel from Americas #1 bestselling crime writer. This book has been the object of some pretty heavy criticism. Most of it deserved. The quality of the book, the writing is sub par. The content is incoherent...and it reads like a 7th grade history book. Readers have been complaining about the decline in the content and writing from this author for several prior books. The writer of this book seems to be in some spiraling decline claiming a government conspiracy is out to "Get her". Instead of an acknowledgement of her declining quality, the author choses to blame some unknown group being out to get her. Who exactly, I have no idea. Do yourself a favor. Save your money. Or, find another author more worthy of your support. The author may continue to grind out low quality literature, but let someone else be the one to pay the price. Try out some of the other writers still trying to get there....not one that has got there,..but got lost upon arrival.
