It's been a while since I reviewed the MFC-9440cn. I ended up selling my Brother HL-1440 and Konica Minolta to one person and my Brother MFC-440cn to another person. This left me with just the Brother MFC-9440CN Color Laser AIO and the Brother QL-570 Label Printer. I jumped the gun! I found that the color laser didn't print Photo Quality photos on Photo Paper. I shouldn't have sold my MFC-440cn. The Photos printed on regular paper on the Laser were much better than the inkjet on regular paper but not on the photo paper, the inkjet is better for photos on photo paper. I ended up purchasing another Brother Inkjet. This time I went with the Brother MFC-845CW which is Wireless and has a wireless 5.8GHz phone. I have also replaced my Brother QL-570 Label Printer with the Brother QL-500 which has a smaller profile and has Auto-cutting on the labels. I picked up both of the Brother Label Printers here at each for a GREAT Price. At home I now have a Brother MFC-9440CN hooked to a wireless network. Brother MFC-845CW Wireless and a Brother QL-500 Label Printer. I haven't had the first problem with any of these Brother Printers. For my wife's Job I purchased her a Brother DCP-9040CN Color Laser AIO. She wanted to take my MFC-9440CN and I wasn't having it, so I bought her her own Brother Color Laser AIO. Again this printer too is a very good workhorse and besides the replacement of Toner and the Drum she hasn't had the first problem either. Proud owner of 4 Brother Printers: MFC-9440CN Color Laser AIO MFC-9040CN Color Laser AIO MFC-845CW Inkjet AIO QL-500 Label Printer Don't pass this deal up @ $419.99! I paid $524 Shipped and that was a great deal at the time. Office Depot still sells the things for around $500+.

Awesome Printers

by on 3/25/2008

I recently purchased this Multifunction printer about two weeks ago from GREAT PRICE, $524 shipped! Before this purchase I had a total of five printers. I'm replacing three of these printers with the new Brother MFC-9440CN. The printers I'm replacing are Brother HL-1440 B&W Laser, Brother MFC-440CN Color Inkjet and a Konica Minolta Magicolor 2400w Color Laser. All of these printers work great but I want the number of printers cut down. Three of five of the printers were Brother, (the third is a Brother QL-500 Label Printer)! Yes, I purchased another Brother Printer! All three of these Brother Printers have worked flawlessly and this is why I'm sticking with Brother. This new Brother color laser is sooooo quiet compared to my Konica Minolta printer. Guess I've said enough, nice printer! BTW, I have it networked with seven computers
