From the Publisher:
When the teacher at the daycare center accidentally gets locked outside, Carl, the lovable canine baby-sitter, takes control of the class for a day of fun-filled activities.
Annotation:
Carl the rottweiler saves the day when the teacher accidentally gets locked out of young Madeleine's daycare center. The dog calmly leads the children through the lessons for the day--music, snack, crafts, nap, etc.-- as the teacher desperately tries to get back into the school. Oil painting illustrations depict this nearly wordless story.
