It was not cheap, but Buy.com had a great price compared to most websites, and way better price than regular stores (where they gouge you and extra $100 plus for this mount). It was very easy to install. Wow is it heavy duty. It will let you swing your TV 180 degrees to the left or right. Which means your wall and your TV can form a perfect "T" shape. This comes in handy if you want to see your TV from the bathroom and you are facing the same wall as the TV. (This is why I bought this mount!) It tips up or down 15 degrees also. The screws that hook the mounting plate to the TV were a little too long, but we used some of the extra round plastic spacers (white washer looking disks) and that kept us from having to go get different screws. You'll have a lot of leftover screws and other mounting hardware. This is because you can mount many different VESA patterns and they don't all need the same stuff. You need 2 people to hold up the TV when it's time to mount it on the wall, so don't try to do it alone, you'll wish you hadn't! (Our TV is only a 26" Sony.) The mount is stiff to move, but that's good, it doesn't move when you don't want it to. Did I mention it's heavy duty? The size of the screws that go into the studs blew me away. I like a TV mount you could "hang from"! (Not literally of course!) I did a TON of research before I bought this mount, and I could not be happier with it. I would recommend it to anyone and everyone. If you buy it from Buy.com, make sure you adjust your shipping to the free option. It defaults to an option that costs more than the mounting itself! I can't believe they would actually charge that much to ship it. Hope it was a mistake, but watch out just in case.
