The nasty side of Narnia. Weta Collectibles is proud to present a range of collectible polystone sculptures celebrating the first installment of The Chronicles of Narnia, Disney's The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe. These remarkable figures are hand sculpted at Weta Workshop by the same artists that designed the armor, weapons, and many of the creatures for the film. This startling Minoboar Maquette is a perfect example. It is close to the final form the character takes in the film and has been cast directly off the original maquette used by Andrew Adamson and the Weta team during the design phase. A disgustingly faithful rendering of the rather despicable creature, it measures about 12-inches tall x 8 1/2-inches wide x 7-inches long. The Minoboar may be mega-nasty and dangerous in the extreme, but this distinctive sculpture is truly marvelous. It will trigger an onslaught of admiring looks as it sits on your desk or shelf! Filthy, brutish creatures, as Minotaurs are to bulls, so Minoboars are to pigs part man and part boar. Burly and strong, the Minoboars are foot soldiers in the White Witch's army, able to disrupt entire enemy lines with their vicious charge. These powerful, stocky warriors are protected by dirty, heavy, leather armor over their already thick hides. They carry no weapons, preferring to inflict grievous wounds with the rusty blades and spikes on their armor and their large, sharp tusks.
