Remix masters King Britt, Stephen Coates (the Real Tuesday Weld), Gaudi, and others from the Six Degrees stable try their hand at reconfiguring non-obvious cinematic musical treasures like the jazz-funk theme from THE TAKING OF PELHAM 1-2-3, the deadly serious strains of "Love Theme from BEN HUR," and even the scary stabbiness of the score from CARRIE. The results are amusing and at times even brilliant. |
