When an injured American ambulance driver (Hudson) and English nurse (Jones) desert to Switzerland, the danger they've struggled to escape is replaced by a more serious threat.

Les Miserables 1935 And 1952:
This DVD release includes both?the 1935 and 1952?screen adaptations of the Victor Hugo classic which tells the inspiring story of Valjean - an ex-convict who rises from galley slave to mayor - and Javert, the police inspector bent on recapturing Valjean. OSCAR Winners Fredric March and Charles Laughton star in the 1935 version, while Michael Rennie and Debra Paget lead in the 1952 retelling.

The Sun Also Rises:
An awe-inspiring lineup of Hollywood icons - including Tyrone Power, Ava Gardner, Errol Flynn, Mel Ferrer and Eddie Albert - stars in this powerful screen portrait of Ernest Hemingway's novel. Editor's Note
This release constitutes the third installment in a set of classic features commemorating the 75th snniversary of 20th Century Fox studios. This particular installment begins with Alexander Korda's legendary 1948 production of ANNA KARENINA, an adaptation of the Leo Tolstoy novel, starring Vivien Leigh and Kieron Moore. It then moves ahead to 1957 for the John Huston-directed, David O. Selznick-produced A FAREWELL TO ARMS, co-starring Rock Hudson and Jennifer Jones, about the romance between an American ambulance driver and an English nurse during World War I. The package then includes two very different adaptations of Victor Hugo's novel LES MISERABLES, about Jean Valjean, who gradually rises from ex-convict to respected mayor. The 1935 version, directed by Richard Boleslawski, stars Fredric March as Valjean, while the 1952 version, directed by Lewis Milestone, stars Michael Rennie as Valjean. Finally, the long-unavailable-on-video classic THE SUN ALSO RISES (1957), adapted from Ernest Hemingway's seminal novel, concerns a group of debauched expatriates living in Paris during the 1920s; it co-stars Tyrone Power, Ava Gardner, Eddie Albert, Errol Flynn, and Mel Ferrer.
