This is at least my 3rd purchase of Clearsounds phones necessitated by my ever worsening hearing loss as I have grown older (as was predicted when I had my first audiology test 20 or so years ago). All 3 have served their purpose well. (I may have even had one before my CS40XLC which I've had for a number of years now. Three years ago I bought a CLS600 to serve as my primary phone. It has served its purpose well. However this year the CS40xlc no longer served my hearing needs. It lacked clarity on incoming voices. I have now replaced it with a CLS600D so I now have 2 phones with good quality reception. Each new Clearsounds has brought me new features which have helped me to continue to communicate. I particularly like the addition of an audio and on screen announcement of the calling phone number as the phone starts to ring. It also gives me better clarity of incoming voices then the CLS600.
