Babyface shows everyone who's boss

Babyface: A Collection of His Greatest Hits is one of the best greatest hits collections I have bought. He includes great hits such as For The Cool In You, It's No Crime, Whip Appeal, When Can I See You Again, This Is For The Lover In You, Change The World, and How Come How Long. Plus many others. The album flows really well, and it is an album I can leave in my CD.

Known the world over for his successful songwriting and production career, Kenneth "Babyface" Edmonds is also a fine performing artist in his own right. His evolution and development as a singer, songwriter, and musician can be heard in A COLLECTION OF HIS GREATEST HITS.
Packed with smash hits like "For the Cool in You," "When Can I See You," "I Love You Babe," and "It's No Crime," COLLECTION is a testament to a career that still has far to go. Also included here is a previously unreleased version of "Change the World," recorded for Babyface's MTV's UNPLUGGED sessions and including appearances from Eric Clapton, Sheila E., and Babyface's brothers Kevon and Melvin. Other featured songs include "This is For the Lover in You," "Never Keeping Secrets," and "Reason For Breathing," one of two new tracks recorded for this retrospective.
Artist Overview
As a singer, producer, and songwriter, Babyface was an inescapable presence in almost every major facet of pop music during the '90s. His own recordings helped rejuvenate the R&B tradition of the smooth and sensitive crooner and made him a staple of urban contemporary radio. Yet their considerable success was eclipsed by his songwriting and production work for other artists, often created with partner Antonio "L.A." Reid, which linked him with some of the biggest stars and hit singles of the decade -- and not just in the realm of R&B. After his biggest decade, his pace slowed significantly, yet he was never regarded as anything less than a giant in his field. ~ Steve Huey
