Customer Reviews of Corsair TX850W 850 Watt Power Supply
Very Powerful, Good Value9/10/2011
This power supply generates plenty of power (watch out electric bill) and can put off some heat, but it is a great value for anyone needing this kind of power for their machine. I wouldn't recommend this for a basic computer, but if you have high-end graphics card(s) and/or are running a lot of RAIDED drives, this offers a good option at an affordable price.
Corsair equals QUALITY5/19/2009
My old PC needed a new PSU so I chose Corsair. When I needed a bigger PSU to run my new i7 build, I went back to Corsair. Solid & reliable with enough connectors to handle any situation (4x6 pin connectors to run two massive GPUs, molex, & SATA power to run a dozen devices). What more could you ask for?
Great Power Supply5/4/2009
Have had this power supply for a couple of months now. It has powered my computer flawlessly.
WICKED GOOD psu4/18/2009
i was getting some bad rippling with my last cheap PSU causing it to be unstable, bought this and stuck it in. it has a SOLID voltage going under full load. plus it has the best PSU award what could go wrong, by far an amazing PSU. (single rail so you dont have to worry about wire distribution)
Who needs Modular anyway.....3/16/2009
This unit would be great with Modular connectors like my 620 PSU from corsair. But honestly, I don't think I can go back to any other power supply unit brand. They may make memory but these units work great. In the same time I went with cheaper units and have gone through 2. this one keeps on truckin. The rundown: GOOD-- works with the new Intels. always keeps voltages at good levels. They are Quiet. Have won numerous quality awards. BAD-- Not modular got cords coming out of my ##. but this can also be a pro. No switch for the fan(not that you really need one as they are quiet). Kinda pricey compared to other units. Rebates come in Debit cards.
