I have purchased four of these modules for two PCs: a Dell Inspiron 9100 and a ThinkPad A31. Yes, the A31 claims only to support 1GB, but it seems to be able to use 2GB with two of these modules mounted. Having the extra memory brings new life to a near-end-of-life system. These memories are at least as fast as the systems support (CL3 on the Dell, but since the ThinkPad runs memory slower, they work as CL2.5 on it). In general the memories perform as expected, though they do burn a bit of extra power (and so the RAM access panel gets a bit warmer and the battery life a bit shorter). These memories have been good, but after over three years (not quite four) one of the modules started to act up. Crucial replaced it quickly and without issues. No other problems even on these two systems which see a fair amount of use and stress. I took off a point for overall satisfaction due to the failure, but only one point since Crucial was so good about the replacement.
