|When You Have The Ultimate Performance System, Can You Really Tolerate Inferior Memory?|
It doesn't matter how fast a memory module is if it isn't stable and doesn't fit your system. Software crashes, choppy game play, and driver and operating system hiccups — all can be caused by bad memory modules. Performance and stability are Crucial! Don't settle for anything less than Ballistix!
So, What is Ballistix Tracer Memory?
So you ask yourself, "What has Crucial done to make sure Ballistix products operate at the published speed ratings?"
What is a Ballistix 240-pin DIMM?
Fails mem tests.12/17/2007
I was having some problems with my computer. I ran the Windows Memory Diagnostic and my BIOS slow memory test. These modules failed both. And buy.com says they cannot be returned.
awesome ram that fails often12/6/2007
i buy nothing but crucial ballistix ram and i've noticed lately that i'm RMA'ing thier modules more and more often. I'm currently returning RMA, and i've only had them for 4 months!!! I overclock all of my PC's, but the modules I'm returning weren't even running at thier rated speed. Maybe I just got some bad ones, or maybe thier D9 chips are on the downside of the longevity curve.
Great deal with the $55 off coupon7/26/2007
Good bling to add to any machine you are building. So far at stock settings the memory has given me no trouble for about a month. We will see how long it holds up in my EVGA 680i main board once I start OC’ing!
I've been using quality memory to overclock for at least 5 years, including corsair w/bh5 chips, mushkin black LvL 2 w/bh5 chips. I added this memory to my C2D system after already reaching 3.4 ghz from stock 2.4 with OCZ platinum DDR2 800 (PC2 6400)currently 125. at newegg. As soon as I added it for a total of 4 gigs memory, it booted up with no problems even though the memory is mismatched. Then while gaming with the new memory and noticing a nice improvement I tried to OC the system higher and had no problem now reaching and stable at 3.5 ghz. It's been about 3 weeks now and still no problems at all. I like the led's since I have a stack of matching towers all UV modded out with windows and H2O cooling. The led's fill in the dark spot where the memory is in my EVGA 680i mobo. I get warm and fuzzy feeling when I consider my 55. rebate, I hope it comes unlike the one from my OCZ memory
Currently running at around 900MHz with 4-4-4-12 timing. The VDIMM is set at 2.1V instead of 2.2V and it still works fine. The LEDs are just amazing.
Super Fast Memory6/3/2007
Doesn't get any better than this. Super Fast RAM with Micron D9 Chips! The LEDs are really nice when the inside of your rig is all lit up. Highly Recommended!
buy this stuff, you won't be disappointed6/1/2007
been buying & using performance memory for years now an di've found that this stuff just plain works better than memory many times its price. never any complications with hardware, this memory just plain works, and clocks awesomely at that. do yourself a favor and buy some. period.
This stuff is bulletproof!Best memory I have ever used period.
The best around5/28/2007
This is simply some of the best ram around. If you are considering overclocking at all, you need quality ram (something people overlook sometimes). With this ram and an Intel E6600, overclocking was a breeze. It is also great to look at in your case if you have a window. The LEDs are not super bright and in your face. They light up the slots with a glow and the activity LEDs also look great and not cheesy like I feared they might. I was able to get this with a great rebate too so it was also a really good value.
Excellent Ram for overclocking. Thank you Buy.com
Simply the best RAM for the money5/27/2007
This ram got my E6420 up to 3.6ghz stable. I recommend this RAM to anyone who is looking for LEDs and very OCable Micron D9GMH RAM!! Top notch RAM!!

The specs on this memory are excellent. The speed is just phenomenal, and Crucial memory is always excellent. I had no idea when I bought it that it would have such a light show. The bottom of the RAM emits a blue glow that lights up the entire motherboard. And the top has a series of red and green LEDs that flash in entertaining patterns as memory is accessed. Now, I'm not the kind of person who has to light up their computer; in fact, I always think it looks awful. But it's so silly that you laugh out loud when you see the crazy set of lights of all different colors flashing and lighting up the inside of the computer. In fact, I was so entertained I bought a 2nd pair. Maybe I'll start to pimp my computer!
First off, these are very nice sticks. They overclock well and even on 2.1 volts. I actually like these more than my 2gb of Corsair Xpert modules. They run a little warmer than other RAM I've used in the past. I think it would be a good idea to have a fan blowing on them to keep them cooler.
