Good value, fast shipping. I bought a couple of these to protect home theater in one room, computer in another. Lightning storm came thru, we lost power but no problems.
Good value surge suppressor11/16/2009
I've had the Cyberpower surge suppressor for only a couple of weeks, so it hasn't had to suppress anything (yet). The price for a surge suppressor with these specs is fantastic. It has a 10-foot cord and 4 outlets for bricks. My only quibbles are (1) that I couldn't get a brick to plug into one of the outlets--but another cord did; and (2) it would be nice if the power cord and the power switch were on opposite ends so one could mount it with the switch accessible and the cord not looped around the unit. Anyway, a great value in a surge suppressor I'm using to protect my home theater. This was my first order from buy.com, but I will most likely buy from them again.
I have purchased two of these units, these are great and have all the connections any home theater or PC installation could want. The only gripes I have are small (and admittedly nit-picky); The included coax cables are RG-59 and should be RG-6 which is recommended for satellite installations. The other gripe is that the flat wall plug has a fixed angle to the right. Some other flat wall plugs that I have had can rotate either right or left which would be a nice addition.
will buy from this supplier again.
