|The CyberPower CP1350PFCLCD Adaptive Sinewave uninterruptible power supply (UPS) with pure sine wave safeguards computer systems that use conventional and Active Power Factor Correction (PFC) power supplies. Its automatic voltage regulation (AVR) topology delivers clean and consistent AC power. The patented GreenPower UPS advanced circuitry reduces UPS energy costs by up to 75% compared to competitive models.
CyberPower’s Adaptive Sinewave UPS with pure sine wave is the first to address the critical compatibility issues of non-Sinewave UPS products working with computing systems using Active PFC power supplies (ENERGY STAR 5.0 compliant). CyberPower’s innovative Adaptive Sinewave UPS is an affordable solution that ensures equipment utilizing Active PFC power supplies do not unexpectedly shutdown or experience harmful stress when switching from AC power to UPS battery power.
The CP1350PFCLCD has a capacity of 1350VA/810Watts, (10) NEMA 5-15R receptacles and (2) maintenance-free, user-replaceable 12V/7Ah batteries. The intelligent multi-function LCD panel displays real-time UPS vitals for ease of control. Connectivity via (1) HID USB and (1) DB9 serial ports. Surge Protection for RJ11/RJ45 & coax. Two 5Vdc USB 2.0 charging ports for portable devices. PowerPanel Personal Edition UPS Management software, a standard Three-Year Warranty and a $425,000 Connected Equipment Guarantee are included.

Excellent for Home and Small Office6/25/2013
This unit works great at a fraction of the price of a "True SineWave" UPS I'd use in Server Rooms, and is suitable for workstations equipped with newer / high-end PFC (Power Factor Correction) Power Supplies. I love the Onboard LCD, which shows a battery meter and a load meter; along with stats like Output Watts -- much like a kill-a-watt would show. You can decide whether to turn off the LCD on idle, or have it always on. I also love the fact that the Alarm can be silenced -- which is a huge blessing if you already know your power lines aren't stable, or if you have a need to intentionally run equipment on battery power for extended periods.
Never buy an APC UPS unit again2/23/2012
This CyberPower unit is fantastic. Installed very easily and did what it is supposed to do. The APC unit I bought would not provide pure power for my stock Dell computer and I had to return it, but this one works perfect. APC help desk was worthless.
After researching for hours on end on the internet, I learned that most high end PC power supplies have ACTIVE PFC implemented in them. What this means to the consumer is you need to have a UPS that provides a true sine wave current to the computer and not simulated as a lot of other UPSes give. CyberPower's CP1350PFCLCD provides this technology at a reasonable price in a sleek case. Currently I'm protecting my 22" professional CRT and my $3k custom build with this UPS and I couldn't be happier!
I have been a long term user of APC UPS', which I must say have performed well for me. When I received my new HP Proliant Microserver, I needed something more professional, not consumer orientated, as the Microserver will be running ESXi, and I need to ensure that it is protected from power outages and surges. Well, I am impressed with this CyberPower unit. The LCD display is really informative. I tried the "pull the plug" test and I had 90 minutes displayed as available. After 10-15 minutes, it had only dropped to 80 minutes, enough time to power down my equipment. I am running an additional appliance or two from the UPS, as well. All in all, very happy. I still like my cheap APC 500VA UPS (~$60)', but this is great for my high value servers and NAS devices.
A Powerful Must Have For Filmmakers!1/13/2011
I use this product primarly in my editing studio for my documentary films. I like to connect my computer and powered hard drives to the battery powered outlets. This way if I am rendering a bunch of graphics and the power goes out for a second I don't lose the render on my harddrive and all the time spent waiting. Its also a great way for me to charge and power my film equipment. I charge my Canon XLh1 batteries, firestore external hard drive on it. It comes with a USB 2.0 cable, co-axle cable , which was nice. It also comes with phone cable and outlets in case i need to get my modem up in an emergency. This is a Social Writeup
Just got this 3 days ago. Greatest value/price of all of these new models. Works wonders. Already had a power surge and a power failure. No problems at all. on my mid-tier computer setup w/monitor I am getting between 40 to 50 minutes of backup time, even while gaming. I will definitely be buying more to upgrade my current Cyberpower back-ups through-out my house. Only mishap is the buy.com pre-authorized 3 times and heldmy monies up. Resolved with a quick call to tech support.
Necessary for newer servers and workstations10/18/2010
I originally had a CyperPower CP1500AVRLCD on my new Dell server. Every time the power flickered, the server would restart. This is because the power sources on newer servers and higher end workstations are more sensitive and need a Pure Sinewave ($$) or Adaptive Sinewave ($) UPS's. I replaced it with this unit and the server stays on. Great value for the price and keeps my server protected.
