WHAT THIS PRODUCT DOES
Use the Wireless N Pocket Router/Access Point to create a Wi-Fi network anywhere wireless is needed. It can also be used to connect an Ethernet-ready device (such as a desktop PC or Xbox 360®) to a Wi-Fi network.
WHY WIRELESS N IS BETTER
This Wireless N Pocket Router/Access Point uses Wireless N technology with multiple intelligent antennas to maximize the speed and range of your wireless signal to significantly outperform previous-generation Wireless G devices. The internal antennas bounce multiple wireless signals off walls and ceilings to work around obstructions and help eliminate dead spots.
What's the point?1/15/2013
I bought this router to use on the road, I specifically wanted the USB port, so that I can hookup an external hard drive with movies/music/pictures, and access them from my iPhone or Android tablet. Surprise, surprise! The Mobile SharePoint application that's supposed to make this possible does not support this particular router! I can access the USB storage from my laptop using the SharePoint for Windows, but I don't need that - I can plug the hard drive directly into my laptop! Ended up buying a Linksys router that does NOT require a dedicated application, everything works now. This D-Link is going back to the store...
