Good deal! I was having trouble with it until I upgraded the firmware. Easy to setup. Good GUI. Can't beat the range especially on N. Covers whole house (2 story 3100sq ft). Was considering 2 routers with my old setup but now it's not necessary.
I've been using my DGL-4500 since what seems like the dawn of time. With the exception of firmware issues years ago, it's been solid. So the DGL-5500 was the next logical step. It was a breeze to set up, has strong broadcast and decent speed, for less than a dinner for two at Applebee's. Overall I'm very satisfied. If it lasts half as long as its predecessor I'll be happy. It's good, but not great.
My old linksys router died (over 12 years old...); the router's user interface is easy to learn and use. For the last couple of months, absolutely nothing internet related have been the fault of this router. I like that it allows you to set up the separate SSIDs for the 2.4 ghz and 5 ghz bands. Would recommend to anyone!
