| Yes, Dallas fans, this is the one, the season that begins with baby John's kidnapping and ends with what's probably the greatest cliffhanger in TV history: Who shot J.R.? Fortunes made and lost. Secrets kept and revealed. Backstabbing, scheming, and manipulation. You'll find everything that makes Dallas a glorious wallow in the lives of the rich and dysfunctional. Villain extraordinaire J.R. Ewing (Larry Hagman) pokes a poisoned finger in every pie, stirring up trouble in the family and bringing Ewing Oil to the brink of financial ruin. |

Editor's Note
Sucking in viewers with the dramas, scandals, and intrigues of the Texan elite, DALLAS quickly became a national sensation after debuting in 1978. The most popular nighttime soap since the 1960s series PEYTON PLACE, the series would run for a total of 13 seasons and become one of the biggest hits of the 1980s. Principally driven by the dramatic affairs of the rich Ewing family, DALLAS derived much of its drama from its character's pursuit of money, sex, and power. Starring Larry Hagman as the nefarious J.R. Ewing, the series also boasted a talented supporting cast, including Barbara Bel Geddes, Patrick Duffy, Victoria Principal, Jim Davis, Linda Gray, Charlene Tilton, and many more. This release contains every episode from the series' popular first three seasons.
