How Far Would You Go?
Matt (Erick Avari, Heroes, Mr. Deeds) had a happy marriage, a wonderful son and a flourishing business. Everything was perfect...until the sudden, unexpected death of his wife. Now leading a haunted, lonely life, Matt's struggles are amplified one weekend when his son, Sam (Kal Penn, The Namesake, Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle), arrives home with his girlfriend. Reminiscing and rekindling the past, Matt's delicate balancing act of dealing with loss and finding the strength to move on finally falters, provoking him into the most critical decision of his life.

"Rogers and Penn are standouts in fine supporting cast.  Joe Leydon, Variety

Professional Reviews

Austin Chronicle 7 of 10
The Houston-based filmmakers behind this modest character drama make their share of rookie mistakes - director Roe has the lengthiest resume, as an assistant director of television fare like the Kim Delaney vehicle Tall, Dark and Deadly - but they've also got a fine cast, a lot of heart, and a healthy disregard for Hollywood rules...Perhaps fearing that there's too little going on - there isn't - the filmmakers pile on portentous flashbacks and a dreadful, thudding score...Never mind that its subject matter is so rarely attempted within the mainstream; its closest Hollywood cousin is the underrated Moonlight Mile. Were it executed with more confidence and steadiness, the film would recommend itself as a trip off the beaten path of ensemble drama. - Marrit Ingman
