Editor's Note
Anchored by the charismatic vampire Barnabas Collins (Jonathan Frid), the television series DARK SHADOWS originally aired from 1966-1971. It maintains a huge cult following, thanks to its unique blend of Gothic horror and daytime soap opera. In these episodes, Quentin and Beth try to release Barnabas from a coffin where Count Petofi holds him captive, while King Johnny Romano arrives in Collinsport with a gang of gypsies. Artist Charles Delaware Tate thinks Amanda Harris is the same, haunting woman he has often captured in his paintings, and Jamison Collins believes a ghost haunts Collinwood. Meanwhile, Julia Hoffman times travels back in time to 1897 after performing an I Ching ceremony.
