Diane Mott Davidson, "the divine diva of the culinary cozy" ("Publishers Weekly"), and bestselling author of "Double Shot," cooks up a new knockout treat of a mystery featuring irrepressible caterer Goldy Schulz.

From the Publisher:
The New York Times bestselling author cooks up a knockout treat featuring the irrepressible caterer Goldy Schulz.

"I tripped over the body of Dusty Routt at half past ten on the night of October 19..."

Goldy Schulz has a lucrative new gig, preparing breakfasts and conference-room snacks for a local law firm. It's time-consuming, but Goldy is enjoying it -- until the night she arrives to find Dusty, the firm's paralegal, dead.

The poor young woman also happened to be Goldy's friend and neighbor, and now Dusty's grieving mother begs Goldy to find out who murdered her daughter. Just because the police are on the case doesn't mean Goldy can't do a little snooping herself.

While catering a party at the home of one of the firm's lawyers, she manages to overhear an incriminating conversation and ends up discovering a few clues in the kitchen.

Before long, Goldy is knee-deep in suspects, one of whom is incredibly dangerous and very liable to cook Goldy's goose.

About the Author:
Diane Mott Davidson is the author of twelve bestselling novels. She lives in Colorado with her family.

Annotation:
While making a delivery at a prestigious law firm, caterer Goldy Schulz unfortunately happens on the body of paralegal Dusty Routt, Goldy's neighbor and the niece of one of the firm's partners. Dusty's brother recently died in police custody, and so her grieving mother is hardly inclined to trust the police to do right by Dusty; desperate for justice, she wants Goldy to find the killer. This cozy mystery, the 13th in a series, includes 11 recipes at the back of the book
Author Bio
Diane Mott Davidson
Diane Mott Davidson spent much of her childhood traveling between naval bases. After attending Wellesley, Stanford, and Johns Hopkins, she settled down with her husband and sons in Evergreen, Colorado. There she began writing culinary mysteries staring amateur sleuth Goldy Bear Schultz, a single mother divorced from an abusive husband. The idea for the mystery series first came to her on afternoons spent sitting in cafes waiting to pick her sons up from school. The catering services offered at one particular cafe sparked the idea for her to create the Goldy Bear mysteries, all of which feature original recipes. Besides cooking, Davidson enjoys reading and is a huge Denver Broncos fan.
